Well… Back in the Fray!

When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true

If you’ve watched the movie, The Princess and the Frog, as much as I have, you would recognize the quote from Lottie as she goes back to secure her wish – the hand of the prince.

The premise of wishing upon a star and it coming true has been a constant theme in my life too.  And much like Lottie, there are times that I felt like I was crazy for believing.

But faith is a funny thing because when you are desperate to have it, it seems to elude you.  But when you stop being anxious about having faith, it just lands on you like a butterfly.  Much like a wish upon a star is granted.

And it’s often not even the wish that we were so desparately seeking after that we get.

That’s been my life.  I had taken a break from writing because I haven’t had time to really sit and contemplate about anything, let alone share my thoughts about it.

I have been busy with my life’s unfolding.

I thought my wish was to be a great writer and it never seemed to materialize.

But once I started living my life, writing ideas and stories would fill my head and imagination.  Because my schedule was so crazy, having a lot of fun, just living and existing, I wasn’t able to share those thoughts and ideas.

But now, I have more time again and it’s time to get back in the fray and to share my thoughts and ideas.

Even if it’s only to document my life so that when I become and ancestor, my descendants know exactly who I was.

And that right there, is the wish I never knew I had coming true.
